The festivities typically kick off with a parade along Main Street, followed by a street dance accompanied by live music. Saturday's events at the McGill Swimming Pool include the "Big Splash" town barbecue, offering free hot dogs and hamburgers, vendor booths, a bounce house for children, and various games.

The weekend concludes with a softball game between the McGill Fire Department and the White Pine County Sheriff's Office, with proceeds supporting local initiatives, and a fireworks show at the McGill ballpark.
